Bloom is a independent artist and designer market held in the heart of historic Fort Langley. Held quarterly at the Fort Langley Community Hall, Bloom will bring together an eclectic mix of 40+ artists, crafters and designers from around the Lower Mainland and beyond. Discover some of the area’s most creative talents and find one-of-a-kind fashion, art, accessories, jewelry, children’s items, vintage, and more.                   

Shop Bloom in Fort Langley on the third Sunday of March, June, September and November at the Fort Langley Community Hall from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is $2 for adults (children 12 and under are free).

WELKIN
'This Is Your Blood All Over Me', the title of welkin's 3rd record--a double-album epic opus steeped in the wilderness -- evokes provocative images and importantly hints at the experiential process Geoff Birch uses to write welkin songs. Retreating to the backwoods of British Columbia and getting away from the city has certainly given Birch a richer connection with the wonders of the natural elements and you can really feel it grow out at you through the music. In the aptly named song 'Pride From The City Pried From My Heart', the trapdoor is flung wide open and you are let in on this mystical rite:

Kilby Historic Site near Harrison Mills BC

Step back in time and enjoy a leisurely tour of the Kilby Historic Site with its magnificent 1906 General Store Museum. Visitors will view a fascinating gallery of product packaging dating back to the 1920s and 1930s. Don't miss the intriguing artifacts in the heritage Post Office and Manchester House Hotel; both were an integral part of the Harrison Mills community at the turn of the twentieth century.1/2 hr drive from Fort Langley Bed and Breakfast. The Restaurant and gift shop are terrific!
